Sweet mulled spice and dark berry nose mixed with red fruit highlights. Bursting with mouthfilling upfront fruit, this has a typical Nuits style power and structure to begin with but finishes more like a Vosne, with style, finesse and verve. Wonderfully complex and stylish forest berry fruit infused with bright minerals. Powerful gripping tannins but this has the fruit and energy to carry it off. Beautifully proportioned. A 57-year-old parcel of Nuits vines situated on the Vosne side of the appellation.
