Based on the 2021 vintage and disgorged in May 2026 with a dosage of two grams per liter, Egly’s latest NV Rosé Grand Cru incorporates 50% reserve wines from 2020 and 2019. A blend of 30% Chardonnay and 70% Pinot Noir, 5% of which is vinified as red wine, it blossoms from the glass with a bouquet of cherry, orange peel and tangerine, mingled with fresh bread. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, racy and precise, laden with bright acidity and concluding with a persistent, citrus-inflected finish.
Based on the 2018 vintage, Egly's NV Brut Rose Grand Cru bursts with aromas of peaches, red berries and orange zest mingled with hints of praline and freshly baked bread. Full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping, with a generous core of fruit that's girdled by racy acids and animated by a pillowy mousse, this bright, penetrating Champagne is already showing well.
Very pale coral, the Grand Cru Rose NV is a barrel fermented rosé d’assemblage based on the 2017 vintage and composed of 70% Pinot Noir of which 5% is still, and 30% Chardonnay. Redolent of ripe stone fruit, red currant, yuzu peel, honey and a faint minty note, the medium-bodied palate is hints of apricot, citrus oil and toast with softened acidity and a bitter tannic note on the finish. Disgorged July 2023, it is an Extra Brut style finished with two grams per liter dosage. Textural impressions should bear in mind that the bottle tasted at the winery was not freshly opened.
