The first scents of Ruinarts NV Blanc de Blancs are floral in character, accompanied by aromas of lemon oil, spices and citrus blossoms. Its medium-bodied and perfectly balanced on the palate, with a round, seamless texture that segues into a mouthwatering, ethereal finish. It should age well for five to eight years.
The Ruinart Blanc de Blancs NV opens with delicate lemon and yellow apple aromas plus hints of vanilla, and cream. Light yellow-gold in color and light to medium-bodied, it has a lean texture and acid vibrancy through a medium-long, mineral finish. 80% of this multi-village blend is from the 2020 vintage and includes 20% of reserve wines that are under 3 years of age. The wines underwent complete malolactic fermentation, were aged 2 years on lees and finished with a seven gram per liter dosage.
(full malo; 9 g/l dosage; LAH9T): Light yellow-gold. Smoky citrus and orchard fruits on the deeply perfumed, mineral-tinged nose. Offers broad, toasty orange and pear skin flavors with an undercurrent of dusty minerals. Picks up floral and ginger nuances with air, along with hints of iodine and tarragon. Rich yet lively blanc de blancs with powerful back-end lift and finishing grip.
