The 2002 Dom Ruinart is a gorgeous, mature Champagne. Apricot, brioche, dried flowers, spice and chamomile fill out the layers. This is an especially broad, ample Champagne that offers notable textural presence. The ripeness of the year and the stature of Chardonnays from Montagne de Reims are both evident. Dosage is 6.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: November 2011.
