2019 is the first release from Les Souiras: a sub plot of the Tour Sarrazine vineyard. A tank selection of the best fruit. In 2019, Jean-Michel has bottled a pure Grenache accompanied with the motto no wow no wine! Les Souiras will only be bottled as a stand-alone wine when it really presents well. The 2019 is that and then some. Powerful but finessed, with a nettle-laced herbal streak, dark cherry and violet intermingle with earthbound notes of camphor and licorice. Bold but beautiful. Silky, suave and long with serious concentration. All this, with no oak! Just 3,000 bottles were produced.
