Clusel Roch
Côte Rôtie, 2010
justerini & brooks tasting note
Fruity and open-knit, lovely red rose and red cherry character, smooth sensual and bright, clasped by fine-tuned tannins hints sap and cracked pepper spice too, glorious. Clusel-Roch make a very high-toned, pure style of Côte-Rôtie made from numerous parcels, predominantly from within the Verenay area, as usual the wine is made biodynamically and is aged in 15% new oak.

Dark ruby. Aromas and flavors of black raspberry, boysenberry and candied flowers, with a bright mineral overtone. Shows very good energy and picks up spiciness with air. Lithe and precise, with excellent finishing clarity and slow-mounting tannins.
