Deep, shimmering ruby. Displays vibrant, mineral- and spice-accented red and blue fruit preserve, floral and incense qualities on the fragrant nose, along with savory herb and olive nuances. Juicy and broad on the palate, offering sappy cherry-cola, blueberry, fruitcake and smoked meat flavors that become sweeter with aeration. Sneaky tannins add grip to a very long, spicy finish that echoes the mineral and floral notes. 20% whole clusters and 40% new oak.
