Crozes Hermitage, 2015

Powerful, muscled Hermitage of intensity and depth. Big flavours of hedgerow, dark plum and black cherry fruits, hints of cassis too, with more savoury undertones of salt, pepper and coal dust. A blend of three Hermitage parcels, de-stalked, vinified in steel tank, lightly extracted and then aged in 30% new oak large demi muid barrels.
