Fluid, easy and with a nice texture and shape. As engaging, texturally, as this is, it begins quietly and needs a little aeration and encouragement. The flavours gently unwind with notes of rose, pomegranate and red berry fruit. Lithe, long and floral with great poise. From an arid parcel to the south of the appellation (Saint Prefert) planted on pebble clay, quartz and fine sand soils. 100% Cinsault planted in 1928. Whole bunch fermented and aged for 18 months in 3-5 year old demi-muids.
