Condrieu, La Bonnette, 2019
A distinct nose of peach and exotic fruits, palate is textured and unctuous. Despite the evident ripeness, there is evident quality and clarity to the fruit. Sumptuous, rich flavours of peach, honeysuckle, acacia and a faint hint of Poire Williams. An unoaked Condrieu with blocked malolactic fermentation to preserve as much freshness in the Viognier as possible.
critic reviews
Limpid, green-hued yellow. Displays floral scents, an exotic touch of saffron, incisive, mineral-driven citrus and orchard fruit. Taut and sharply focused on the palate, offering vibrant lemon zest, green apple and white peach flavors that slowly unfold through the mid-palate. Strongly echoes the mineral and floral notes on an impressively long finish that shows superb clarity and closing thrust.
