    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note
    Bernhard Huber, Malterdinger, Weiss, 2018

Holy smokes this is good. Lightly smoky reductive notes frames zesty lime, yuzu and lemongrass on the nose. Electric and ripe, with beautifully integrated oak and crisp fruit - Julian Huber has found a formula for taut Burgundy-inspired white that is neither too lean nor overly reliant on reduction. As a pairing for blackened sweet miso salmon and pickled veg and it is impeccable but it would work just as well with Ceviche or a remoulade. A great balancing act and offering an immense amount of value for anyone with a taste for the wines produced by Roulot, Ente et al...a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 3o% Grand Cru Weissburgunder.
