Pale in colour, fresh notes of spice and stones, wild meadow flowers, grasses and freshly cut herbs, wild red berries in a cool pine forest. On the palate taut and refined flavours are bolstered by super fine tannins beautifully wrapped up in surprisingly concentrated fruit. Complex, alpine almost and beautifully balanced. The coolest of the Huber sites, an east facing well exposed vineyard that backs straight onto the forests of the black mountains.
