Pinot Noir, Bürgstadter Berg Erste Lage, 2023

The Erste Gewächs (1er Cru) unfurls with the hallmark Fürst rich aromatics. A beautifully expressive strawberry and cherry laced wine with a salty, savoury edge carrying hints of iron and white pepper with a little bite of smoke on the finish. The Erste Lage (Premier Cru) Bürgstadter Berg acts as the younger sibling to the Centgrafenberg and Hundsrück GGs, being a blend of the two sites. Aged in 20% new French oak.
