A clear step up in balance and intensity, with sufficient concentration to absorb the more herbaceous character. The fruit is deeper and more complete, supported by firm structure and a savoury freshness. Tasted just two weeks after bottling and understandably still a little compact, but already a very solid expression of high quality. The Erste Lage Bürgstadter Berg acts as the younger sibling to the Centgrafenberg and Hundsrück GGs, being a blend of the two sites. Aged in 20% new French oak.
