The 2025 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Auslese is a little shy, presents yeasty freshness one moment and a touch of green apple and lemon the next. Slenderness is the first thing you note on the palate, alongside light-footedness and a lovely dollop of ripe, aromatic white peach. This white peach core is exquisitely pure, beautifully contained, absolutely contoured with lemon and presents a nugget of gently sweet freshness, luminous with cooling lemon. What a wonderful balance, what unity, what natural charm, what effortlessness, what elegance. Freshness is foremost. (Sweet)
