Neat and inviting, the Himmelreich Spätlese is full of slate and rocks on the nose, offering up a wine of lovely freshness and detail; white fruited and pretty with a kiss of sunshine behind, it is measured and lithe and lovely.

The 2025 Riesling Graacher Himmelreich Spätlese has a totally seductive flicker of bergamot right away; it disappears again in yeasty reduction but sets a beautiful tone. The palate is an even, serene nugget of citrus and stone, mouthwatering around the edges, gentle and so fresh in its nature, very precise and elegant, with a light footprint but a firm frame. This has graceful beauty, strikes such an innate balance with its gentle sweetness and pristine lemon. (Medium)
