Complex and spicy and serious, as noble golden fruit leaps from the glass. The richest and the deepest of the GGs today with white pepper and salt, smoky slate, golden apples, cantaloupe melon and a hint of guava. Long and intense with compact acidity and plenty of stuffing, this will provide enormous early-drinking pleasure.

The 2024 Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Riesling trocken GG is precise and even herbal and ethereal on the intense but elegant nose that reveals some greenish flavors that intertwine perfectly well with the ripe and elegant fruit. The wine is full-bodied, intense, complex and vital on the palate, revealing crystalline and cutting acidity and serious grip on the long, aromatic, very digestible finish. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in March 2026.
The 2024 Riesling Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Grosses Gewächs is shy on the nose. It offers the juiciness of ripe red apple on the palate, with a lovely tartness. The gorgeous, peppery backdrop is smooth and exciting at once. The body is slender with elegant flow. (Dry)
