Super slatey, high-toned and elegant, it presents as salty with a fine earth and powdery mineral structure. Ripe acidity, glowing small fruits, a very fine and long Kabinett. Seamless.

The 2025 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett blends its reductive smokiness on the nose with a serene tone of Amalfi lemon zest. The palate continues in this same vein, with full-on lemon backed by salty slate. This is so linear, so beautifully streamlined, so straight, so endless, so elegant. (Medium)
