Where the Herrenberg is a model of poised, open fruit, the Abtsberg is absolutely “glockenclar!” (crystal clear). Tighter and much more saline on the palate than the Herrenberg, the Abtsberg leads with blue and violet notes, citrus and green fruits, lift and intensity. Lithe, ethereal and slate-rich, this is a Kabinett of great detail and length.
