Unusually, the Kabinett feels a little more reserved today than its “Superior” stablemate. Glossy on the palate with notes of compact cherry, waxy lemons and fine spice it carries a smooth delicacy on the finish.

The 2023 Riesling Maximin Grünhäuser Herrenberg Kabinett smolders with some reduction on the nose. The light palate has gorgeous purity of Reine Claude plums and a smooth, bright juiciness alive with lemon. The finish is tingling and stony.
