Utterly seductive from the first sniff. The nose is an intense medley of concentrated citrus fruits (lemons, limes, grapefruits), pineapple and mangoes. Nuances of flint. These notes all continue on the palate which shows absolutely no signs of being 10 years old. Gentle, soft, forgiving and ethereal; this bears all of the hallmarks of a legendary wine.

(auction wine) Rich gold. Captivating, smoky aromas of candied pineapple, caramelized apricot and fresh fig embedded in pure brown spice botrytis. Unctuous tropical fruit flavors are leavened by an ethereal, slate-driven minerality.The unending finish saturates the palate with complex spices, toasted almond and lemon oil.This must be the finest auslese of the vintage!
