Okonomierat Rebholz
Riesling, vom Rotliegenden, Trocken, 2020
justerini & brooks tasting note
Grassy green herb and fine citrus notes give a sense of dancing, elegant, finesse - minerals that skip across the palate - as much of a change in pace in texture as in flavour. The individual terroir characters in these wines are so very clear. Over time the red Rotliegenden soils tend to display crisp berry fruit notes too. Today this is gorgeously open and interesting. A combination of plot and tank selection from the Kastanienbusch site.
