Oestricher Doosberg, Alte Reben, Trocken, 2021

Officially a Grosse Lage vineyard, Doosberg is made up of loam, loess and clay with quartz veins running through it, the latter sections utilised much in this bottling. Aromatically this has more of the lychee and floral notes, then salty yellow fruits. Melting across the palate with a gorgeous texture and flow this is all complex fruit notes and floral accents. Sleek and full of grace with stony grape notes on the finish. Charming, and surprisingly long. Produced from 50 year old vines
