Juicy, smooth spiced plum fruit with a lifting scent of rose. Pliable, engaging and full of character. Feudo di Mezzo is usually the most open of the reds and this is no different; full but charming from the off. A warm, deep-soiled site at 600m. Aged in a combination of barrique and tonneaux and bottled after 14 months.

Rosy and perfumed, the 2022 Etna Rosso Feudo di Mezzo opens with a lovely bouquet that blends dried flowers with crushed strawberries and hints of lavender. This displays textures of pure silk with a lifted and finessed feel. Tart wild berry fruits add a lovely inner tension. A web of fine-grained tannins frames the experience nicely as the 2022 tapers off with staining length and a tart cranberry concentration.
