Syrah, Martinborough, 2009

A salty, spiced rhoney nose. Classy, rich but fine not too dense, well constructed, loads of character but well tailored, notes of hedgrow fruit, cracked pepper, sap, ripe bramble flavours, a warm finish with a focused edge. A great new world meets old world Syrah.
