The copper-colored 2022 Espumante Brut Rose sparkling rose was produced exclusively with red Baga grapes from selected lots with more vigor and more humidity, where the alcohol is contained and the acidity higher. The whole clusters were pressed to keep a pale color, then fermented in barrel and stainless steel to give texture, complexity and freshness. It has a nuanced nose and is clean and expressive, tasty and vibrant, yeasty and serious, with very good acidity. It was put in bottle in January 2023 and disgorged after some 18 months with the lees, in March 2025. The base wine is also aged for about six months until it's put in bottle to referment. The dosage is always around six grams of sugar, which gives the wine an elegant balance that makes it easy to drink. It has integrated acidity, 5.97 grams, which makes it balanced. 4,340 bottles produced.
