Graham's, Stone Terraces, Vintage Port, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
Graham’s Stone Terraces comes from less than three hectares of historic, hand-built 18th-century stone terraces at Quinta dos Malvedos. These three parcels are drawn from north, west and east facing slopes, so differ greatly from the rest of Malvedos which is south facing. That said, they still produce wines of immense power and concentration. Seductively tropical fruit of Mango and passion fruits are lifted by rosemary, dried herbs and Mediterranean flowers. Density looms on the mid-palate with rich damson, plum and blackcurrant notes. There is a very pleasing creaminess to the texture. This is plush, polished and seductive, structured and voluminous.
