Domaine Evremond

Founded in 2014 with the purchase of a Kent estate by Champagne house Taittinger, Domaine Evremond represents a groundbreaking venture in the world of English sparkling wine. As the first UK winery to be majority owned by a prestigious Grande Marque, Domaine Evremond brings a wealth of Champagne expertise to the English wine scene.

The estate’s creation was the result of Taittinger’s search for exceptional terroir beyond the borders of Champagne, with the UK high on their agenda. After finding a perfect site in Chilham, Kent—a fruit farm with ideal chalk soils, south-facing slopes, and natural protection from the elements—the project began in 2015, and the first vineyards were planted in 2017. By 2020, Domaine Evremond had harvested its first full crop, and in 2024, the estate released its inaugural wine.

The first edition of Classic Cuvée is a blend of 55% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, and 10% Meunier, with fruit sourced from both the 2020 and 2019 vintages.
