    “If I’m going to present wines in a cheaper range then I want to make sure they are the sort that I would drink with my friends.” All the Chardonnay hails from the Polkadraii Hills on granitic soils, unoaked and slightly reductive. Clean and juicy, a really bright, simple aperitif wine with a really moreish personality. It spends four months on the lees and is bottled early retain its vibrant freshness.

    The 2022 Chardonnay Break A Leg is realized in stainless steel. It has a saline, almost Chablis-like bouquet with impressive focus. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly leesy entry. It’s very pure with light grip with a slightly peachy and honeyed finish. Understated, elegant and something to drink over the next 2-4 years.
