Rall Wines
Red, 2022
justerini & brooks tasting note
The Rall Red always sees an extra year in bottle compared to the rest of the range. 78% Syrah 12% Grenache 7% Carignan and 3% Cinsault raised in used French oak. Medium to full bodied in style with a core of dark brooding fruits and red spices, white pepper, thyme and a long, enveloping finish. Approximately 80% of the wine comes from Schist vineyards.

The 2022 Red Blend offers a fresh nose with a spicy undercurrent of red flowers and juicy cherry aromatics. Medium-bodied, the palate displays a firm, tannic edge before expressing fresh and juicy layers with energetic acidity and seductive earthy aromas of wild herbs. It's a well-made and sturdy wine that delivers a clean, red-fruited expression without the use of new oak.
