    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Javier’s Zaccagnini’s personal project is named after Bach's six solos for violin, and represents his vision of elegant, hightoned Ribera del Duero from the powerful, mineral soils of La Horra. No new oak is used in the elevage, Javier preferring a mixture of 600 and 225 litre barrels, the finest lots making the cut for Sei Solo itself. Bright raspberry, cherry, fennel, liquorice and sweet spice notes soar from the glass, belying a rich dense deepness to the palate, with bold fruit tannins completely encased in dark plum, black cherry, floral notes, fresh raisin, graphite and dark chocolate. Superb.
