Dido Tinto is produced from 70% Garnacha, 20% Syrah and 10% Carinena-Cabernet-Merlot. In their words, it is a “tribute to youth, tenacity, love and Garnatxa”. The Tinto comes from a 10 hectare plot on decomposed granite soils. Produced with whole clusters and aged 40% in old wooden casks of various sizes and 60% in concrete and clay amphora so as to preserve fresh fruit characteristics, for a total of 16 months. Ripe, spicy but attractive and wholesome red and black fruit with some edgy tannins and a seam of acidity running throughout.
