Vosne Romanée, 2020
Lots of pretty, silky and vibrant surface fruit, whilst also offering quite some depth and dimension too. A really complex, villages offering layers of fleshy, silky fruit - notes of plum, sloe, bramble and loganberry. Full, curvaceous, lively and seductive. From a villages parcel on the Nuits side of the commune.

The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Village is very well defined on the nose, the 30% new oak nicely integrated, redcurrant, cranberry and wild strawberry notes emerging in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a little toastiness on the entry, dark berry fruit with a touch of cedar towards the Morey-like finish. Fine, but it will need 2-3 years in bottle.
