Romanée St Vivant, Grand Cru, 2019

This opens with a floral note of blueberry, followed by a slow, long wave of dark and red hedgerow berry fruit washing through the palate. A similar richness and strength to the Corton Bressandes but with a more shapely and elegant side. This has Vosne swagger but make no mistake, it is very concentrated and will benefit from being tucked away in a dark cellar for several years. A fine parcel of Romanee St Vivant located next to Arnoux and Cathiard.
