Chardonnay, Hills Range, 2022

Restrained in aroma but tactile on the palate, this is a crisp, vibrant Chardonnay with sophisticated notes of pear, citrus and quince, not tropical, with a light lemon hue. A backbone of bright, lively acidity makes it thirst-quenching and moreish, finishing with a light stony grip. From a cool south facing vineyard at 420m. Aged sur lie for 10 months in barrels of varying sizes, 20% new.
