Slightly richer and more generous in style than the other Pinot Gris in the range, it shows notes of white peach, tangerine and brioche. Fuller-bodied and buttery on the palate, it is balanced by lemon, chamomile and a salty freshness. This would make an excellent pairing to poultry or cream-based dishes.

The 2024 Pinot Gris Clos des Capucins is striking this year. Smokiness appears first followed by a smooth, almost toffee-like creaminess. As usual, the palate is bone-dry, slender yet wonderfully fluid, like a dual personality of smooth creaminess and absolutely clean-cut tautness. A totally appetizing Pinot Gris of dry, fluid juiciness. (Bone-dry)
