Pinot Noir, Cuvée S, 2020

From vines in the great Schlossberg vineyard, owing to appellation rules which presently don't permit the mention of a Grand Cru site with Pinot Noir, the 2020 saw 50% whole bunch fermentation and 2 years in barrique (30% new). Pointed red fruits such as cherry and raspberry vie with suave bramble, toasted notes and a fine quality of tannin. Deserves a few years in bottle before broaching, there is impressive concentration and substance to the Cuvee S. Just 1,400bts were produced.
