Domaine Weinbach
Riesling, Grand Cru, Schlossberg, 2021
justerini & brooks tasting note
Cathy Faller's Riesling Schlossberg is always so beautifully poised and crystalline. Imbued with a certain power and intensity, it ages famously well. Seductive and complex with a dazzling core of citrus and essential oils, a touch of white honey and a long, soothing, mineral-laced finish.

The 2021 Riesling Schlossberg is fresh and pure yet also intense on the complex, spicy and iodine-inflected nose. Rich yet savory on the palate, this is a very intense yet complex and tightly structured Riesling with a long, persistently saline finish. This is a great 2021 Riesling! Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in April 2024.
