The minute cuvee, something in the region of 7500 bottles, is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. This, like the grand vin, is wonderfully aromatic and expressive, packed with wild berries and minerals. The texture is superb, plush, rich; velvety fruit cascades over the palate. This as usual is one of the most intense and complex second wines to be found in Bordeaux.

Deep ruby. Sweet, ripe aromas of black cherry and balsamic vinegar, complicated by a whiff of game. Pure black cherry, coffee and spice flavors are framed and lifted by very fine tannins and strong but balanced acids. Finishes long and smooth. A fantastic second wine here.
