    Dark shiny appearance, with a backward nose of cool graphite and green pepper. Polished on the palate, with intense blackberries and fresh acidity; medium weight, dark in character with smooth but high tannins that build on the finish. 6,000 cases of this wine will be made, the valiant result of four weeks of harvesting due to uneven ripening. The blend is 49% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Petit Verdot.
