The white 2023 Picque Caillou jumps from the glass with scents of fresh, pure grapefruit, white peaches, and green apples, with a touch of coriander seed. Medium-bodied, the palate is crisp, clean, and refreshing, with appealing purity and a steely finish.
A little austere, this is slim through the palate, majoring on green apple, white pear, saffron and sage, with apple blossom aromatics. A little short, but with charm, 20% new oak for ageing.
