Chambolle Musigny, Les Veroilles, 2011
justerini & brooks tasting note
This is a cuvée that has got distinctly more profound over the last few years. Airy, high-toned, light and silky in style. This offers red cherry and cherry stone freshness with notes of raspberry and redcurrant. A little more fat and flesh than usual, sumptuous but still racy and moreish. Very good indeed. Véroilles is one of the highest vineyards in the commune producing tense, high-toned wines that retain that Chambolle charm and texture.
