Chambolle Musigny, Les Veroilles, 2017
justerini & brooks tasting note
Enticing, soft, fruity Chambolle. Smooth but with a cherry and cherry stone quality and mineral edge providing some lift. Light, delicate and illuminating. A Veroilles is one of the highest vineyards in the commune producing tense, high-toned wines that retain that Chambolle charm and texture.

The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Veroilles has a fresh, vibrant, quite taut bouquet featuring crushed stone aromas filtering through brambly black fruit laced with black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, the 30% whole bunches nicely integrated, and the finish is transparent and precise. Very fine.
