A Gevrey villages of poise and purity built around a ripe tannic structure. Charming, honest, but not without finesse; this is as generous and well-mannered as Gevrey gets. Sumptuous tannins and plenty of fruit give this a come-hither quality that is rather more charming that you’d expect from your average Gevrey villages. This comes from two plots on rich clay soils, Les Carrougots and En Jouise and also includes 10% of Belair Premier Cru.
