Complex, supple, sweetly-spiced fruit over a rocky minerality. There’s more savoury earth tonality to this than either Chambolle, and as a result, those spicy mineral elements give the wine a certain crunch. Located just above Bonnes Mares, En la Rue de Vergy is planted on poor, rocky limestone soils.
