Brilliant, energetic yet sumptuous, there is both density and poise here; wonderful flavours of satin-textured berries, plums and cherries. This betrays both the airy, floral notes of this high vineyard, together with the suave silkiness so typical of the Vosne commune. A high Vosne vineyard situated next to Reignots and a touch higher up the slope.

Good bright dark red. Inviting aromas of cassis, blackberry and violet. Juicy, sappy and utterly captivating, with lovely floral lift and graphite complexity to the perfumed dark berry and spice flavors. Not at all thick but plenty intense. The finish is firm and persistent. This cuvee has been a bit too light in some recent vintages, but this year it's a beauty.
