Clos de la Roche, Grand Cru, 2013
justerini & brooks tasting note
The 2013 was picked on a cool foggy day, the grapes were healthy, ripe and boasted good aciditiy levels, the result is a wine that offers loads of energy for a Clos de la Roche. Super ripe but bright, deft fruit; a fine mix of sweet, ripe strawberry fruit combined with fresh cherry and redcurrant notes. Really alluring, long stylish flavours. Clos de la Roche is a warm terroir that produces bold, opulent wines. Four barrels were made.
