A fine, tight, streamlined wine of fresh dark fruit and great mineral spark. Racy flavours of red and black cherries; this is both suave and vibrant - not the deepest or the most powerful but a very even-keeled Nuits. 50% whole bunch fermentation.

The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Thorey 1er Cru, which has 50% whole bunch, has a fleshy ripe and generous bouquet with macerated small red cherries and raspberry coulis. The palate is medium-bodied with soft and fleshy tannins, quite Vosne-like in style with a rounded finish. It just needs a little more tension. Closure: Diam
