Clos de Vougeot, Grand Cru, 2010

Incredibly long and with an intense vibrancy you don’t normally get with Clos Vougeot, this is a stunning example; deep, broad and structured but smooth and refined, plummy yet precise, sweet wild berry fruits, dark cherry with hints of raspberry. Excellent. A blend of three parcels within the Clos de Vougeot, one from the bottom part of the vineyard, one from the middle on the Vosne side and one higher up near to the Château.
