Immensley long and suave. Glorious, haunting flavours of wild berries, and cherries. Silky, cashmere tannins, livened up with bright, fresh red fruit characteristcs, begulingly complex, very refined and long but nothing forced about it. A truly great Grand Cru. La Grande Rue is an exceptional vineyard that sits next to La Tache and was granted the honour of Grand Cru status in 1992.
